Deadline Approaching for 2014 Congressional Art Contest

Congressman Paul Broun, M.D. (GA-10) today reminded high school students that the deadline is approaching for the 2014 Congressional Art Competition.  Eligible entries are due Tuesday, April 1st and include paintings, drawings, photography, collage, and computer generated art.

“Every year, Congress hosts a nationwide competition to encourage the artistic talents of our youth,” said Congressman Broun. “And each year, I look forward to seeing the wonderful artistic talent of the students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District. I encourage every young person who finds joy in art to submit a piece.”

The competition is open to high school students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District.  Students may submit their artwork to one of the following locations:  (a) Congressman Broun’s Athens office at 3706 Atlanta Highway, Suite 2, (b) Congressman Broun’s Milledgeville office in the Powell Building of Central State Hospital at 620 Broad Street, Suite 401-C, (c) the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce at 149 Main Street in Thomson, or (d) the Madison-Morgan Chamber of Commerce at 115 East Jefferson Street in Madison.
