Broun Earns Perfect Pro-Worker Score

Washington, Sep 22, 2011 -

On Wednesday, September 21, 2011, the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) recognized U.S. Representative Paul Broun, M.D. (GA-10) for earning a 100% Pro-Worker Score on CEI’s Congressional Labor Score Card.

“I appreciate the efforts of the Competitive Enterprise Institute to advance the principles of limited government, free enterprise, and individual liberty,” said Broun. “And it is a high honor for me to receive this award.  In agreement with CEI, I believe that economic freedom is essential for prosperity to flourish.  Therefore, you can depend on me to continue to promote legislation, such as my JOBS Act, H.R. 660, that unshackles American entrepreneurship and provides incentives for the free market system.”

CEI, a public policy organization dedicated to the principles of free markets and limited government, has created a voting scorecard for the 112th Congress focusing on worker issues.  Click HERE to view the complete scorecard for the entire U.S. Congress.
