Augusta Academy Day 2011
Each year, one of my duties as your 10th District United States Representative is to nominate qualified candidates to the United States military academies. This year I will host the regional academy event to familiarize students with the application and nomination process and to expose them to academy life. My Fall Academy Day will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Augusta State University. Representatives from all five academies as well as cadets and midshipmen will be in attendance and will be available to answer questions of parents and students. The event is open to students grades 8-12.
Each person who will attend Academy Day must register. Registration is limited to 300 people and is conducted on a first-come, first -serve basis.
