Interesting Video...

President Barack Obama has repeatedly stated that if you like your insurance you can "keep what you have."  However, this video released by Republican Whip Eric Cantor's office brings the President's statements into question.  Click the picture to view the video:

As stated on the Republican Whip website: "In the video we see the Majority (Democrat) Staff Director for the Health Subcommittee for the Committee of Ways and Means testifying on the impacts of the Democrats’ health care legislation. Her testimony and analysis included the word “require” eighty-four times, as she outlined a litany of mandates the bill would place on the American public."

Congressman Broun... Has anyone stopped to think about what kind of a precedent the president's Health Care bill will open up? Even if he rewrites it to make it tasteful enough for the people to somehow swallow...the door is open for him and the democrats to put anything they want into that package later. We won't be able to stop it!! No one is talking about that. To me that is worse that what is going on right now. Once that door is open, it is all down hill! We must not let that door be opened. People need to stop just thinking of themselves individually and start thinking as a whole before it is too late. Look at the abortion issue...that is a train out of control and look how difficult is has been to stop it. We must not open this door. We must not! Thank you for all your hard work. Rep Broun, Americans MUST have a choice of the public option and specifically if the health plan they already has is worthless and too expensive, they must have the right to change to a public plan. It is only moral that all obtain effective affordable coverage. It's Constitutional, (Medicare has passed that test) and it's necessary to have health coverage to prevent bankruptcies. The Iraq and Afghan wars are unaffordable, yet we are there. We bailed out the Wall St casinos and AIG, yet we can't care for the least amongst us in America? Only people in the pockets of insurance corps and big Pharma could possibly oppose a PO, even if it does cost. Start honoring your constituents, NOT the Repug leadership and their puppetmaster corporations. Regards, Ed Cunningham

The Republican alternatives to the Democrats' health care legislation is so superior. It's a shame the American people will have the Administrations health care laws forced upon us. All I've read and heard is that the Republicans have no ideas on health care to offer. I find it apalling that this is not going to be a bipartisan bill. Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion.
